Work on a Gratitude List
It’s simple, but it works: keep a list of things that you’re grateful for. Every night before bed, list at least three things that happened during your day—people who were kind, situations in which you excelled—that made you feel good about yourself. This helps build positivity and makes you appreciate your accomplishments. If writing feels like too much work, try making an audio recording.

We often get so busy with work, family, and social activities that we forget about self-care. Practicing self-care doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to be at a spa all day long; it simply means that you’re taking care of yourself. Whether you take 15 minutes out of your day for meditation or simply eat healthy food, make sure you’re doing things that help keep your spirits high and your energy levels up.
